STEP 3: Create and adhere vinyl monogram.
My friend’s new last name will be Eckard, so I cut out an “E” from dark red vinyl. Once it was cut, I placed transfer tape on top to help peel it off and adhere it to the vase.
STEP 4: Create flower arrangement.
I used eight giant roses and a small styrofoam ball. I cut the blooms from their stems and glued them into the styrofoam. Then, I added the crown pins for a sparkly, formal effect. I left a small part of the ball uncovered at the bottom so that it would sit in the vase.
STEP 6: Place floral ball in vase.
This project was seriously easy to do. No flower arranging skills necessary, just glue those suckers onto the ball until it’s covered! My kind of project! And after the wedding is over, Sara and Michael can use it as a centerpiece in their new home. I’m actually a little sad to let it go…it looks quite pretty on my table {even though the “E” is completely irrelevant for our family}. Maybe I’ll just have to convince hubby that we need a vow renewal…

What size vase did you use

I honestly don’t remember, it’s been several years ago and I gave it to the bride, so I can’t go back and measure. 🙁 My best guess is that it was maybe 6 or 8 inches wide…?
