So. You guys know I’m in love with Tailor & Stylist. The Darling Dotted High-Low Maxi, The Sound of Summer Dress, Sweet Serendipity…ah! Affordable, comfortable, chic fashion; can’t beat it, right? I have absolutely loved all of the Tailor & Stylist clothing I’ve reviewed so far, but I have a brand new favorite. Take a look…
The second I put on the Little Black and White Dress, I knew two things. One was that I was going to have a great time styling it, and the other was that hubby was going to LOVE it. I was right on both counts.
Honestly? I can’t say enough about this dress. Here are a few of my favorite things:
Honestly, it fits like an absolute dream and was comfortable enough for walking all around downtown Annapolis in…unlike my red heels. Alas.
Honestly, I love the way the cut of the dress as well as the stripe and belt accent the thinnest part of my figure and the skirt hides the “mama pooch.” Basically, it gives the illusion of an hourglass figure and makes me look thinner than I really am…what’s not to looooove about that?!
Honestly, I think it’s the perfect length. I love dresses that stop right above the knee like this. Elegant, sophisticated, modest, and shows off the thinnest part of my legs. Yes, please!
Honestly, I love the high pleated neckline. It’s not at all revealing, but the pleats add a touch of chic sophistication {not to mention making me look a little, um, more endowed than I actually am}. Again, how can I argue with that?! Side note, I always find it so awkward trying to pose with a serious face…lol…do I look as awkward as I feel? Wait. Don’t answer that.
Honestly, I love that it’s hand washable, so I don’t have to dry clean it. Saves me time and money. And honestly, I love how versatile it is for styling! For this particular photo session, I paired it with red teardrop earrings {made by me}, my Lisa Leonard Itty Bitty Hearts Necklace, a chunky black ring from Claire’s, my pearl and crystal memory wire bracelet, and red heels I got on clearance at Shoe Dept. Until, that is, my feet got tired and I had to swap them out for black wedge heels from Target. Oh, and of course, my Target shades.
The Little Black and White Dress is a win in my book…and his too.
One last thing I love about this dress, besides that I think the black and white makes it an extra touch more elegant than the standard LBD, is that the belt is fully removable, so that means I can swap it out for any belt style and color I want!! That totally changes the look! How fabulous is that?!
Speaking of fabulous…in addition to using the 10% sitewide discount my readers always get at Tailor & Stylist with the code artsymama10, this time around Tailor & Stylist is offering one lucky reader a $35 credit!
Believe it or not, almost everything on the site {dresses, tops, bottoms, accessories} is $50 and under, so $35 will go a long way! In fact, here are just a few of the many things that cost $34.95 or less…some as low as $12.95!
Rafflecopter will walk you through the entry process; good luck! I just know you’re going to love their stuff as much as I do!
