Hey Friends, it’s Emily from The Benson Street! If you watch the show Psych you probably are a fan of delicious flavor. Even if you don’t watch the show (although you should because it is hilarious) it’s okay because pineapples are that delicious flavor they love in Psych. I’ve had a nice ripe pineapple sitting on my table that has needed to be devoured. To best enjoy the delicious flavor I whipped up a Piña Colada Smoothie. I normally make boring smoothies with the same old ingredients. I was so excited to try out fresh pineapple in a smoothie.
Smoothies are the best, especially for summer. They cool you off and pack lots of fruit and good stuff into a drink. A Piña Colada Smoothie is perfect for breakfast, a snack or dessert. Smooties are especially great as a healthy treat.
Piña Colada Smoothie
What you will need:
- 1 cup of ice
- 1 1/2 cups of fresh pineapple
- 1/2 cup vanilla or greek yogurt
- 2 to 3 tablespoons frozen or fresh coconut
- 1 small banana
- 1 teaspoon honey
Add ingredients to blender and blend until smooth. Enjoy!
Mix up this fresh smoothie for the whole family.
