Boil pasta according to package directions. Drain and rinse with cold water, then drain again.
Place cooked pasta in a large bowl and stir in bell pepper, peas, ham, and cheese.
In a separate bowl, combine mayonnaise and Ranch dressing and mix well.
Add this mixture to the larger bowl and stir until pasta salad is thoroughly coated.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Refrigerate to chill before serving.
