Scrappy Stars
Equipment
- scissors
- needle and thread/sewing machine
- fabric marker
- pinking shears
Materials
- fabric scraps (two 5” squares)
- low loft batting
- twine
Instructions
- Cut two 5” star shapes from fabric using pinking shears.
- Cut a slightly smaller star from low loft batting.
- Write your word on a scrap of fabric, then trim it with pinking shears.
- Sew your word onto one of the fabric stars.
- Stack the top star, the batting, and the bottom star, then sew around the edges with a 1/4” seam.
- Add a twine hanger.
- Add a bow.
