Patriotic Clothespin Stars

Materials
- 5 wooden clothespins
- paint
- cardboard
- felt
- buttons
Instructions
- Remove the metal springs from five wooden clothespins.
- Paint the clothespin halves.
- Glue the top portions of the clothespins together to form a point.
- Arrange the clothespins to form a five-pointed star and glue the edges together.
- Cut a 2 1/4” circle from cardboard and glue a 2 1/4” felt circle on top. Glue the circle to the top of the star.
- Add buttons on top of the circle for more embellishment.
- Optional: Add a hanger by tying string, ribbon, or twine around the top point.
