Clothespin Carrots
Turn simple wooden clothespins into festive spring decor!
Equipment

- hot glue gun
- scissors
Materials
- wooden clothespins
- orange acrylic/multi-surface paint
- green ribbon, assorted colors/widths
- green paper Easter grass
- hot glue sticks
- peat pot (optional)
Instructions
- Remove the metal clip from the clothespins and paint the wooden pieces orange.
- Glue the flat sides of the wooden pieces together to form the carrot shape.
- Cut ribbon and paper grass into 6” pieces. Create a bundle containing one piece of light green ribbon, one piece of dark green ribbon, and 3-4 pieces of grass. Tie it together in the center with a second piece of dark green ribbon.
- Fold it in half with the knot at the bottom, and glue it to the top of the carrot.
- Repeat the process to create as many wooden carrots as you like. You can display your carrots either individually or tied together on a tiered tray, a shelf, a mantel, or anywhere you want to put them.
