Wooden Block Firecrackers
This quick and easy patriotic craft is perfect for the 4th of July!
Equipment
- scissors
- paintbrush
- wire cutters
- paint pen, optional
Materials
- 1” square wooden dowel
- red, white, and blue acrylic paint
- small unfinished wooden star
- twine
- 20 gauge wire
Instructions
- Cut your dowel into three unequal sections. Mine are 4, 4.5, and 5 inches.
- Drill a small hole in the top of each dowel for the wire fuse.
- Paint your blocks and wooden star.
- Add details (optional).
- Add wire fuses.
- Arrange your blocks and add twine.
