One of my favorite things to craft around Christmas time is ornaments! I’m kind of obsessed with them, which is why we have more that our tree can ever actually hold! I just think they make sweet gifts, and they look super-cute tied onto packages too! Here’s a roundup of some of my “honestly doable” favorites that you can create…quick, cheap, and easy like always!
These adorable little snowmen that I made with my friend Kelly are the single most viewed craft on my entire blog! They’re super simple to make, all you need is paint, blue, ribbon, buttons, and bottlecaps! See the full tutorial!
If you’re a snowman fan, here’s another alternative; make them from those wooden craft spoons, paint, and felt! They’re easy peasy and oh-so-cute! Plus, you can easily turn them into a wearable pin as well. See the full tutorial!
Here’s one more way to make an adorable snowman {or two or ten!} for your tree…buttons! See the tutorial here!
If you like traditional round ornaments, here’s a fun one made from sheet music, Mod Podge, and glitter! Use your favorite Christmas hymn, or opt for a book page instead! See the full tutorial.
Next time you’re in your favorite vacation destination, stash some sand and tiny shells in your suitcase for this fun keepsake project. It’s a great way to remember a special place or trip! See the full tutorial for more!
Plain ornaments paired with some stencils and glass paint are the perfect combination for all kinds of fun! Take a look at some of the varieties you can make in the full tutorial!
Got a button stash? All you need is a clear ornament and some glue and you can make one of these festive and colorful button balls too!
BEADED STAR AND CROSS ORNAMENTS
If you’re a jewelry maker who’s got tons of extra beads and wire, this one is for you! See the full tutorial here.
These are super quick to whip up and make great package tie-ons…they’ll help you remember whose gift is whose!

Remember stringing tri-beads on a pipecleaner to make a candy cane or gluing popsicle sticks together to create a snowflake? Stroll down memory lane with your own kids and make some of these old school ornaments!
While you’ve got out the popsicle sticks and glitter, why not make this adorable photo frame ornament with your little ones?
Little and big crafters will enjoy rolling, cutting, decorating, and baking these traditional salt dough ornaments!
The plastic “Mod Podge-able” shapes are a great size for a gift tag that can also double as an ornament! Stencil an image or a name and you’re good to go!
Hope you enjoyed the collection and are inspired to start creating some of your own ornaments this year!
