Hey, friends! If you follow along on Facebook or Instagram, you already know that the Artsy Family is heading home today from a fun-filled vacation in Myrtle Beach. So, it should come as no surprise when I tell you that I absolutely love all things nautical. Any kind of beachy decor I can incorporate into our home to remind us daily of our favorite place is always welcome. Recently, I created a nautical decor project that I’m really excited about, and I think some of you fellow ocean-lovers are going to like it too…
The main supply I built the project around was my Nautical Stencil Set from Ed Roth’s Stencil1 collection, available through Plaid Crafts. I first saw these, along with some of the other stencils in the new line, when I attended CHA back in January. I immediately knew I wanted to make something with them…I’m sure you can see why! I already had most of the things I needed in my stash to create this décor, and I picked up the frames for less than $1 a piece at my local Goodwill.
I recently shared the full tutorial for how I created these, including a list of all the materials I used and step-by-step photos and instructions over on Plaid’s blog, The Plaid Palatte. I’d love for you to stop by and see my guest post there!
What about you? Are you an ocean lover too? Where’s your favorite beachy getaway?

I love these! Thanks for sharing! I’ve only ever been to the beach once in my life and I didn’t even get in the water. I’d love to change that.

I love the beach! My favorite is either Grand Cayman or Cozumel. We are trying to decide where to go for my daughter’s graduation next spring. We know we want to go the beach preferably an island. Glad you had a great vacation!!

“One Artsy Mama Goes to the Beach”- that would make a great book title! 🙂

What cute stencils! The beach off Coco Island in the Florida Keys is my fave {it’s also the only “warm water” beach I’ve been to}.
