Sawtooth Stars and Stripes Sew-Along

Happy National Quilting Month!

It’s time to kick off our Oh Say Can You Sew sew-along, and the first thing we need is our pattern. We will be creating a variation of the Sawtooth Stars and Stripes Quilt by Missouri Star Quilt Company.

SPECIAL NOTE: The sample in the pattern is made from red, white, and blue solids, but I will be using fabrics from my Oh Say Can You Sew collection instead. Unlike the sample, I’m using one fabric for the centers of the navy blocks and another for the outer part. That means the fabric requirements and cutting for the navy blocks will be a little different than what the original pattern states. I will be sharing specific fabric requirements and cutting instructions in another post.

MSQC is offering this pattern as a FREE DIGITAL DOWNLOAD for anyone who is participating in the Sew-Along (plus any of my other followers who would like to grab it). They have asked that the code not be shared publicly, so in order to get your pattern for free, here’s what to do. The free offer is for the DIGITAL version only. This offer expires March 31, 2026. After that date, you will need to purchase the pattern.

Comment on the pattern post in the Sew Along Facebook Group, or on my Facebook or Instagram feed (@amylattacreations). Make sure you are following both me and Missouri Star on that platform.
