How to Make the Purrfect Wall Hanging

This 24” x 24″wall hanging features appliquéd cats created with the new Purrfectly Yours Cat Template Set from Missouri Star Quilt Company. Materials You’ll Need:

FABRIC REQUIREMENTS:

White/background fabric – 1/3 yard
Cat fabrics – 1 fat quarter OR 1 – 10” square each of 4 different fabrics
Sashing – ¼ yard
Cornerstones – 1 – 10” square or scrap fabric
Backing – 1 yard
Batting – 30” square
Binding – ¼ yard

OTHER MATERIALS:

Purrfectly Yours Cat Template Set from Missouri Star Quilt Company
Sew Light or other Fusible Adhesive

Frequently Asked Questions

What fabric did you use?

My choice for this project was an assortment of fabric from the Missouri Star Welcome to Quilt Town collection.

Do you appliqué by hand or machine?

You are welcome to stitch around the edges of the shapes either way that you prefer. I chose to use my machine so that the stitches were even, and to save time.
