Friends, if you’ve been following along for awhile, you know that here in the Artsy Family we have three seasons: Spring, Summer, and Football Season! We are big-time fans of our favorite team, and we do everything in our power not to miss a game. This time of year especially gets exciting as we head toward the Big Game…my dad and I actually bet on one of the games this past weekend and one of us owes the other lunch. Not only do we enjoy watching the game itself, we also enjoy having some tasty game-time snacks and treats, like these delicious cupckes!

– chocolate cake mix
– vegetable oil
– eggs
– white icing
– caramel drizzle

Prepare cake mix according to package instructions. Place cupcake liners in pan and pour mix into each one. Then, place a SNICKERS Bites candy in the center of each cupcake.

Bake as instructed on cake mix packaging. Allow the cupcakes to cool, then frost them using your favorite kind of white icing. To create fun frosting swirls, I put my icing in a decorating bag with a very large star tip. I started in the center of the cupcake, spiraled out to the edge, then back in to finish it off.

All that’s left to do is drizzle a bit of caramel on top, then place a SNICKERS Bites candy on top of each cupcake as a garnish.

Of course, we can’t let the cupcakes be lonely; we like to have other sweet snacks out as well. Little Crafter loves Skittles®, especially the Wildberry ones. And all three of us enjoy Starburst® {we may or may not fight over the pink ones…}

What are some of your favorite game day snacks? Do you think these cupcakes would be a great addition to your menu for the Big Game?
