Great news, chocolate lovers! M&M’s® Crispy are back, just in time for Easter…all the goodness of M&M’s® with a delicious crispy surprise in the center. Of course they’re great for snacking straight out of the bag, but that’s not all! They’re also a great addition to some of your favorite baked treats. Stir them into cookies, brownies, and more to add a crispy crunch. Or, make my personal favorite, M&M’s® Crispy Cake Balls!
Ingredients:
– Baked Yellow Sheet Cake {I used a box mix, but you can make whatever type of cake you like.}
– 1 can Vanilla frosting
– M&M’s® Crispy
– Dark Chocolate Candy Melts
Step 1: Crumble your baked cake into a bowl. This part is really fun for little helpers! Just break it all up until it’s basically crumbs.
Step 2: Add a can of frosting to the crumbled cake and mix until you have a creamy dough-like consistency.
Step 3: Stir in M&M’s® Crispy candies…you can use as many or as few as you like.
Step 4: Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. This will make the mixture less sticky and easier to shape into balls.
Step 5: Roll the chilled cake/frosting/candy mixture into balls and place on foil or wax paper.
Step 6: Place more of your M&M’s® Crispy candies in a plastic bag and crush them with a rolling pin.
Step 7: Follow package directions for the candy melts, then dip each cake ball in the melted chocolate to coat it completely. Sprinkle crushed M&M’s® Crispy on top.
Once the chocolate coating hardens and cools, they’re ready to enjoy! If you’re giving them to a friend, they’re fun to package in a cute little box by placing each one in a mini treat liner and sprinkling extra M&M’s® Crispy candies in the bottom. But I can honestly tell you that not many of ours were given away! So far, I’ve made two batches of these, and only four of them left the house. Hubby and I took care of the rest of them all by ourselves.
Want to grab your own M&M’s® Crispy? They’re available at Walmart in a big bag in the candy/baking aisle as well as individual sizes in the checkout aisles. My local store even had a special display.If you’re watching your calorie intake, never fear, the individual snack size bags of M&M’s® Crispy contain only 180 calories per serving.

I love the idea of using these for little gifts in a fest box or container! But I’m like you, between the kids, husband and myself, they may not all make it out the door! #client
