Friends, these earrings are some of my absolute favorites at the moment, and at the same time they’re so very easy to make that I feel silly even blogging about them. My goal, though, is always to show you how very “doable” DIY projects can be, even if you don’t think of yourself as skilled or crafty…so, here they are. Seriously, anyone can make these. And aren’t they gorgeous?
All you need is: {the following are affiliate links, meaning if you click and make a purchase, you help support this blog}.
– {2} 11 mm Gold-Plated Silver Druzy Beads
– Gold Plated French Ear Wires
– Wire Cutters and Needle Nose Pliers
Step 1: Remove the gold jump ring. The druzy comes with a ring attached, which would be great if we were making it into a necklace, but if we hang it on an ear wire that way, the earrings will hang sideways instead of the way we want them. So, use wire cutters to make a slit in the ring and remove it with your pliers. If you don’t have jewelry tools yet, the cutters and pliers in your {or hubby’s} regular tool box will work just fine.
Step 2: Gently twist the French Ear Wire open. Be careful to twist the end of the loop to the side, rather than pulling the loop apart and causing it to not keep its shape.
Step 3: Slide the druzy onto the wire and re-close with your pliers. That’s literally all there is to it. Just gently guide the wire back to its original position and you’re good to go!
In less than five minutes, you can have a dazzling, sparkling pair of earrings that will make a statement wherever you go! What do you think?

Oh yes! A matching necklace would be pretty, too!
