Valentine’s Day is just three days away, which means if you haven’t done your shopping or crafting yet, it’s time to get started! Here are a few quick and very easy last minute gift ideas that are great for friends, neighbors, classmates, and that special someone in your life. These are based on the Valentine printables I recently shared; each food pun goes with its own edible treat…take a look!
You’re My Everything
For this little gift, all you need is a cellophane bag, an everything bagel, a ribbon, and your printable tag. You can buy individual bagels at a local bakery or bagel shop, or a whole bag of them at the grocery store. If your recipient doesn’t love the taste of an everything bagel, you could always use plain or another flavor; the pun will still be a fun one. A few other ideas include attaching the card to a gift card for a bakery or bagel shop, or to a container of everything bagel seasoning, which can be found in the spice aisle of the grocery store.
Olive Me Loves Olive You
The obvious gift to attach here is a jar of olives. Tie a piece of ribbon right around the jar and attach the card, or place the olives in a cellophane bag first and tie it closed at the top. If your special someone doesn’t love actually eating olives, you can always trade out the real thing for a gift card to Olive Garden instead.
Love You S’more
Since S’mores require some assembly, this little gift will require a bit of prep work. You’ll need a cellophane treat bag, graham crackers, marshmallows, and chocolate, along with ribbon and your printable. I used miniature Hershey bars, but you can use any type of chocolate you prefer. I added four graham crackers, four marshmallows, and two chocolate bars to my bag, then tied it shut with festive ribbon. You could also attach the tag to a box of s’mores flavored Pop Tarts or cereal.
Love You A Latte
This is my personal favorite, since I’m crazy about coffee! There are tons of options for this one, the first being to tie your printed card to a bottle of single serve coffee. There are tons of brands and flavors you can find at your local grocery store. Or, tie it to a bag of ground coffee/coffee beans if you know your special someone’s favorite brew.
Another option is to attach the tag to a coffee mug or travel cup, which you can purchase as is or even personalize! I used my Cricut and some permanent vinyl to add the logo for my monthly segment on Good Day PA. For more on customizing a cup, check out this post on DIY mugs and this tutorial on how you can even get little crafters involved making a Thumbprint Heart mug. Of course, you could always add in a coffee shop gift card to sweeten the gift even more.
Hope you enjoy these last minute Valentine gift ideas! They’re easy, inexpensive, and fun to receive for just about anyone. Be sure to grab the free printable cards here!
