WASHI TAPE MONOGRAM CANVAS
STEP 1: Cover letter with strips of washi tape. You can either trim the edges with an exacto knife, or wrap the tape around them {which is what I did}.
STEP 2: Pencil in your words, then paint over them. I printed mine out on the computer in mirror image, then used a pencil to kind of sketch them onto the canvas…of course if you’re cool enough to have a Silhouette, this step is presumably much easier and you can just whip up the vinyl and stick it on. {Is it Christmas yet?}
By the way, if you want a background color for your canvas, you can paint that first. I went with the plain white to contrast with the wall and pick up the white in the curtain fabric.
STEP 3: Glue your letter onto the canvas and let it dry.

I love it! It’s so simple, but totally adorable. And it fits perfectly in that spot with the colors etc!

Ah, I love how this turned out! I am totally in love with this washi tape trend. It looks like it’s time for me to crack. At work yesterday, I saw someone looking for ideas on football baby showers and she ended up on your page. I was so excited that I recognized.

Very cute! I haven’t tried washi tape yet and I’m not sure what it is, though I’ve seen it around b-world for awhile now. The colors and patterns on your monogram are perfect for your project. Love!
