Hostess With the Mostest: Grownup Party Favors

I don’t know about you, friends, but this time of year, I feel like we’re constantly entertaining! Whether it’s having the neighbors over to watch football on Sunday afternoons or getting the whole family together for Christmas dinner, there are friends and relatives in and out of our home all season long. I absolutely love playing hostess, but it can be exhausting trying to keep the house ready for guests.

One thing that definitely helps is my Hoover Cordless Vacuum! Vacuuming used to be such a pain before I had it, but now I can move around the house so easily. There’s also no plugging and unplugging, no winding and rewinding and most importantly, no tugging, tangling, or tripping over the cord. It might seem like a little thing, but it really makes a huge difference. Hoover offers a line of 4 cordless cleaners—3 vacuums and a hard floor wet cleaner, that all have an interchangeable LithiumLife battery system. You can swap the same battery {which has double the capacity of the standard 18-volt lithium Ion battery} into any of the Hoover cordless products so you’re ready to tackle any mess.

These products also feature Windtunnel 3 technology that provides suction power to lift and remove dirt like never before, making vacuuming a breeze. Now, I’m finished my chore in no time, which allows me to do other things I want to do for my guests, like create these simple grownup party favors for them to take home!

Small treat boxes
Round glittered stickers
White card stock
Circle punch
Black and gold markers/pens/paint pens

Step 1: Assemble your box and place stickers on the top and sides.
I placed mine in a random pattern, even putting some on edges and folding them over.

Step 2: Fill your box with treats.

Step 3: Punch or cut a circle from white card stock.

Step 4: Write the guest’s initial in the center.

Step 5: Add embellishments.
I used my black Tombow Fudenosuke pen to sketch vines on either side of the letter. Just draw a curved line, place an oval at the top, then draw heart shapes going down the line. I colored my leaves in with gold to match the polka dot stickers.

Step 6: Attach the circle to the center of the box top.

Now each guest will have a personalized gift to take home from your party! What are your favorite ways to be the hostess with the mostest?
