As someone whose job centers around written and spoken words, I find myself at a loss this week as we all watch the current events unfolding in Ukraine. No words seem powerful enough to communicate either the senseless horrors or the selfless courage simultaneously playing out on the world stage. Like so many of you, I find myself wanting to help more, do more, and somehow stand in solidarity with the people of Ukraine who are fighting to maintain their freedom. One thing I saw today was an effort called Sunflowers for Ukraine; a call to flood the internet with images of sunflowers, the Ukrainian national flower, to show those in the midst of this tragedy that they have our support and prayers (#sunflowersforukraine). So, I turned to what I do best, art, and created this image. I am making it available (free of charge, of course) in three versions: a square digital image for social media, an 8×10 image that can be printed and framed, and a 9:16 digital image for a phone wallpaper. Please feel free to click and download any and all versions, and to share them anywhere and everywhere for personal use. Scroll down to grab each of the different variations.

Even in the darkest of times, there is always hope. Hope for peace, hope for brighter days ahead. Let’s hold on to that hope together as we stand with the people of Ukraine.
