How to Make a Holiday Gnome Stocking

It’s fun and easy to applique a festive gnome onto any stocking or other holiday project with the Missouri Star Gnome for the Holidays Template Set! The set comes with a variety of hat, body, beard, and nose shapes that you can combine to create all kinds of unique gnome characters. Just add fusible interfacing to the back of your favorite fabrics, trace the template shapes, cut them out, and iron them onto your surface. Then, machine or hand stitch around the edges to prevent your shapes from fraying and peeling. You can sew your own complete stocking if you like, using the free pattern below, or simply add your gnome to a store-bought one.
