Boho Beaded Bracelet

Who’s in the mood for some more fun Boho style jewelry? Yesterday I shared about the awesome box of beads and supplies I got from Blueberry Cove Beads; here is the second project I made using what was inside!

Here’s a reminder of what I had to work with from my June box {I got mine free of charge, but all opinions are my own}…a variety of beads, charms, and other findings all in the boho style. Yesterday, I shared a pendant I made using one of the feather charms and a teal bead. Once that was complete, I thought it would be fun to have a coordinating bracelet, so I chose more of the teal beads and the little sun and moon beads to make one.

Materials:
From the Boho Box:
– 35 teal beads
– 8 sun and moon beads

From my stash:
– memory wire
– wire cutters and pliers
– antique gold jump ring
– tree of life charm

Step 1: First, I threaded my beads onto memory wire in a pattern of one sun and moon bead followed by five teal beads. Once all the beads were strung, I cut the wire leaving an inch excess on each side.

Step 2: Next, I used needle nose pliers to form a simple wire loop on each end of the bracelet to hold the beads in place. I did one end first, then made sure the beads were all touching each other and trimmed the extra off the other end before forming the loop.

Step 3: To finish it off, I added a small tree of life charm to one of the wire loops using an antique gold jump ring.

I’m loving the way it turned out! I like the combination of the bead colors and memory wire bracelets are one of my favorite styles because they’re so easy to wear. They retain their shape and are simple to put on and take off one handed.
