Spring Appliqué Pillow
Celebrate the season with a fun and festive Spring Appliqué Pillow! It’s easy to create this flower-filled basket design with the new Missouri Star Quilt Company Spring Template Bundle (Set 2) and your favorite fabrics.

How to Create a Spring Appliqué Pillow
This pillow is fun to make, because you can customize it using your favorite colors and patterns of fabric and laying out the design in any way you like. Grab the materials listed below, then download the free PDF pattern for the full instructions.

Materials
- MSQC Spring Template Bundle Set 2
- fabric scraps: assorted colors for flowers, leaves, and chick
- 10” square of brown (or other color) fabric for basket
- 10” square of white fabric for background
- 1/2 yard fabric for sashing and backing
- 16” pillow form (I used Fairfield World Crafter’s Choice)
- fusible interfacing
- buttons for flower centers
- small bead for chick’s eye
- pencil
- scissors
- needle and assorted colors of thread

Crafting Tips
- Personalize your pillow by mixing and matching your favorite colors and patterns of fabric.
- Instead of buttons, you can also make flower centers from felt or fabric.
