You’ll need:

unfinished wooden photo frame

acrylic or multi-surface paint: green

FolkArt Glitterific: Green or Evergreen

painter’s tape

paintbrushes

your favorite photo or free St. Patrick’s Day Printable

Step 1: Give your frame a base coat of your favorite shade of green paint.

One coat should be enough to cover the unfinished wood, but feel free to do a second coat if you like. Let the frame dry completely before moving on to the next step.

Step 2: Place a piece of painter’s tape horizontally across your frame.

The section of frame visible below the tape is the part that will be glittered; the rest will be just paint. It’s up to you how high or low on the frame you want this dividing line to be. If you prefer, you can even glitter the entire thing!

Step 3: Apply FolkArt Glitterific.

Glitterific is my favorite way to add sparkle to a project because it’s literally no-mess! Glitter particles of varying sizes and colors are totally suspended in the clear acrylic base. There will be no stray glitter on the floor, the work surface, or anywhere else. Plus, it’s self-sealing, so there’s no need to do anything else to your project. Brushing Glitterific on like normal paint will give you a confetti-type look, while dabbing on a generous amount will give you a super-sparkly, full coat of glitter. Use as much or as little as you like to get your favorite effect.

Once your Glitterific is dry, pop in your favorite photo or one of my free hand-lettered St. Patrick’s Day printables and your’e ready to display your new holiday decor!

Don’t forget, if you like it, then you oughta put a Pin on it!
