Freedom Table Runner – Free Pattern
Celebrate the summer holidays with this patriotic Freedom Table Runner! Of course, as with any pattern, you can use whatever fabric you like and adapt it for other seasons and occasions, too.

How to Make a Freedom Table Runner
This pattern is quick and easy to piece, and is designed for use with a charm pack (5” precut squares). I used my Oh Say Can You Sew fabric collection for Andover Fabrics. I love the mix of florals, stars, and words!

Materials
1 charm pack – 30 5” squares: (10 red, 10 white, 10 blue) (I used Oh Say Can You Sew)
1⁄4 yard white fabric for border
1⁄4 yard red fabric for binding
1 yard your choice of fabric for backing
1 yard batting
free pattern
The finished runner is 16 1/4” x 47 1/2”, and uses 30 charm squares. If you need your runner to be a little longer or shorter, you can easily adjust the pattern by using more or fewer rows of squares.

This pattern is free, my gift to you, for personal use. Please do not reproduce or sell it. If you’d like to share it with a friend (please do!), just send them the link to this page and they can download it too.

I hope you enjoy creating this festive runner as much as I did. If you try the pattern, I’d love to see how your project turns out! Make sure to tag me @amylattacreations in your social shares and/or to share your photos in the Amy Latta & Friends Facebook Group so we can all inspire one another.
Crafting Tips
- When quilting, I always recommend pressing your seams to the “dark side.”
- Using a rotary cutter and a quilting ruler makes cutting so much easier than trying to cut with scissors!
- I highly recommend the Missouri Star binding tool for joining your binding perfectly every time.
