How to Make Fabric Wrapped Candy Bars

This is such a quick and easy way to turn a candy bar into a festive gift! A pre-cut 5” fabric square is the perfect size for wrapping a bar of chocolate, so it’s a great way to use up your spare charm packs. All you need is some adhesive and a few embellishments, and you’ve got a pretty little sweet treat!

Materials

Instructions

Sew a 5” strip of lace across the top third of a 5” fabric square.
Wrap the fabric square around a chocolate bar and secure with adhesive tape.

I found that it was easiest to apply the tape to the candy wrapper, then press the fabric down onto it.

Tie a ribbon bow and attach it with a glue dot.

Crafting Tips

  • Have fun mixing and matching different fabrics and bows to create a one-of-a-kind project.
  • Try adding additional embellishments like buttons, small silk flowers, etc.
  • Feel free to attach a tag that’s labeled with a name and/or message.
  • Make sure to store these in a cool place so they don’t melt! Also, avoid using hot glue.
