Apples & Pine Cones Fall Centerpiece

One of my favorite ways to decorate for Fall is by bringing some natural beauty of the season indoors. Apples, pine cones, and berries can be found in abundance, so why not give them their moment to shine as part of your seasonal decor? Here is a very simple fall centerpiece that’s quick to assemble and will bring instant beauty to your table.

You’ll need:

a tray {mine is this gorgeous 12×5″ Acacia Wood Tray from Amazon}

apples

pine cones

cinnamon sticks

greenery (I used faux Eucalyptus leaves and faux Rabbit’s Ear leaves)

berries

Step 1: Cover your tray with leaves.

I used two stems of faux eucalyptus leaves, one going in each direction. Of course, you can always opt for real leaves instead!

Step 2: Add apples!

My tray, at 12″ long, was the perfect size for three Gala apples. Depending on the size and shape of your tray, choose the number of apples that looks best to you.

Step 4: Add pine cones and cinnamon sticks between the apples.

I placed a pine cone on each side of the center apple, then put cinnamon sticks on the opposite sides to balance out the design.

Step 5: Fill in the rest of the space with berries and leaves.

I used real berries from a bush in the backyard; however, if you have pets or small kiddos, make sure you don’t use anything that could be harmful if ingested. Fresh herbs can be added in to the mix, and faux berries will look beautiful too! Finally, I took single leaves and small groups of leaves off a stem of faux rabbit’s ear and tucked them in around all the apples as a finishing touch.

It’s that simple! And the best part is, when you’re ready for something new, you can just disassemble your arrangement and start over. Nothing is glued in place, so all the pieces can easily be removed and your tray is ready to be used again however you like. What do you think? Why not grab a few of these supplies and create your own gorgeous fall centerpiece? I’d love to see what you create! If you try this project, be sure to share your photos with us in the Amy Latta & Friends Facebook group so we can all be inspired. See you there!
