Father’s Day Gift Bags
Add a special touch to your Father’s Day gifts this year by packaging them in these cute shirt and tie gift bags!

How to Make Father’s Day Gift Bags
These bags are simple to create in less than 10 minutes. They’re also easy enough that little crafters can help, too! Just gather the materials below, and let’s get started.
Materials
- paper lunch bags (brown or white)
- patterned scrapbook paper (or colored cardstock)
- scissors
- tape or glue stick
- free tie template

Instructions
- Download and print the free tie template (or feel free to draw your own). Make sure to print at 100% size as an 8.5”x11” document.
- Trace the tie onto your scrapbook paper and cut it out.
- Cut off the top of the bag to create a straight edge (most paper bags have a small semi-circle cut out of one top edge).
- Cut horizontal slits on both sides of the bag that are 1” from the top and 1 1/2” long.

5. Fill the bag with goodies. This is important to do now, because otherwise your bag will be sealed shut!
6. Fold the cut pieces of the bag in toward the center and secure with tape or glue.

7. Use tape or glue to adhere the tie to the bag.

Now your gift is ready to give! This is such a cute way to package a present for any of the special men in your life. If you try it, I’d love to see how it turns out! Make sure you’re part of the Amy Latta and Friends Facebook Group where you can share your project photos and we can all inspire one another. Hope to see you there!

Crafting Tips
- You can personalize the necktie by tracing the template onto plain white paper and letting your child draw on it, color it, or add stickers. Then, cut it out and the tie will also be a special work of art!
- Add another personal touch by writing the recipient’s name across the bottom section of the bag.
- While brown paper bags are a great choice, you can also try white ones that will look even more like a dress shirt.
