Felt Monogram Ornaments
Deck the halls with these adorable, easy felt monogram ornaments! These also make a fun gift tag to tie onto a package.

How to Make Felt Monogram Ornaments
These ornaments are a great way to use up scrap felt, and they each take less than 15 minutes to create. Just gather the basic craft supplies listed below, and let’s get started!

Materials
- felt
- scissors
- perle cotton/embroidery floss and needle
- Poly-Fil
- twine
- ribbon (optional)
- jingle bell (optional)
- hot glue gun and glue sticks

Instructions
- Cut two 3″ felt circles for each ornament. (I traced a small measuring cup.)
- Cut out a monogram letter from contrasting felt. (I freehanded mine, but you can also print out typed letters and trace them as a template, or use alphabet stencils.)
- Use perle cotton or embroidery floss to hand stitch the letter to the center of one felt circle.
- Place the two circles together and stitch around the outside edges from the bottom to the top center.
- Cut a piece of twine and tie a knot in the ends. Place it in between the two circles in the top center.
- Continue stitching around the edges of the circles, securing the hanger in place. Leave an opening for stuffing.
- Add a small amount of Poly-Fil inside the circles, then finish stitching around the edges.
- Add a ribbon bow and a jingle bell to the hanger with hot glue (optional).

Crafting Tips
- Mix and match colors to create your own unique ornaments! Use your favorite colors and lots of contrast.
- Feel free to make your ornaments sparkle by lightly brushing the felt with glue, then sprinkling loose glitter on top.
- Try using different size circles for larger or smaller ornaments.
